Flower delivery…

The incredible flower company that is Prestige Flowers (click here)  were generous enough to send me a bouquet from their luxury range in exchange for an honest review.

Not only did I receive the wonderful flowers BUT I also got a free vase…oh yeah, you heard right…a free vase. Another amazing feature about this company is that the prices are not extorsionate like some of the others, you can purchase a beautiful bouquet  from £19.99. That is soo good! I always think that buying flowers for someone is such kind and lovely idea, so I am always on the lookout for a reliable company. Especially because I am at University and live here (in Bristol)  instead of at home. It is always nice to have flower delivery as an option for birthday presents, sympathy, celebrations and perhaps an act of love.

Personally, nothing for me can beat the feeling of receiving flowers from someone. The warmth of love that surrounds me, fills my heart with love and appreciation.

They also do some A-MAZ-ING CHRISTMAS FLOWERS.  Check them out here Christmas Flowers.  I know I will definitely placing an order with them soon! They are fast, reliable and you receive such beautiful flower…ready to put on display.

Wuthering Heights!!!!!

Wuthering Heights

Amazon’s description (incase you do not know what this book is about)

Wuthering Heights is a wild, passionate story of the intense and almost demonic love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, a foundling adopted by Catherine’s father. After Mr Earnshaw’s death, Heathcliff is bullied and humiliated by Catherine’s brother Hindley and wrongly believing that his love for Catherine is not reciprocated, leaves Wuthering Heights, only to return years later as a wealthy and polished man. He proceeds to exact a terrible revenge for his former miseries. The action of the story is chaotic and unremittingly violent, but the accomplished handling of a complex structure, the evocative descriptions of the lonely moorland setting and the poetic grandeur of vision combine to make this unique novel a masterpiece of English literature

Although it makes me sad to see a book in this sort of condition, I guess it shows  how much I love it! I really do love this book and I feel like I cannot do it enough justice.  (However I purchased another copy but I will continue to love this one just as much.

This is  a beautiful albeit ferocious book that captivated my heart and soul.  I am a sucker for a good classic and really want to explore more of them. Wuthering Heights is a novel by Emily Brontë that was published in 1847.   Below are a few quotes that I love!

“He’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”

“If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger.”

I cannot pinpoint the exact reason why I cherish this book so much; is it the characters? or the setting or both. Although it is solely a love story, I love that the novel represents the destruction of love. The passion between Catherine and Heathcliff’s seems to be the concrete center to which the narrative constructs and oh boy I just love it. Their passion oozes from the book and grabbed my eager attention, It was so compelling that it stayed with me after I finished the book.

Emily Brontë’s writing is  dkhakd jsfhaishkah! I find it extraordinary. See, I said I  cannot do it justice and that is because I feel like words are not enough to emphasize my love for this book.   I have read this book on a numerous of occasions and every time I can feel myself being sucked in by the writing, the book is full to the brim with magnificent quotes that make me stop and admire her writing, they are not only heartbreakingly beautiful but they are also thought-evoking.

I hope everyone reads this book because it really is fascinating, once you dive into it and explore its themes, motif and many more exciting elements that make it soo captivating. I will be studying this book soon on my creativity, critique and literature module and I cannot contain my excitement.

Join me in my love and admiration for this classic Gothic novel.
